The IDC system is designed to meet the market demand for ISO 7810 plastic card personalization. IDC systems create secure credentials through the combination of thermal retransfer color printing of photos and backgrounds and laser engraving for text and ghost images. An integrated laminator module provides a single step to physical protection of the card. Severable available options make the IDC color card solution ideal for the instant issuance of qualified credentials as well as banking cards with ISO magnetic stripe and EMV chip encoding.

• Card Input Feeder – Automatic feeding
• Vision System – The integrated vision tool allows for pre-personalization product inspection, offset registration for laser engraving data and personalization verification by performing OCR/OCV checks.
• C-CL Encoder – The system enables the loading of personal data into the integrated electronic contact or contactless chip. The unit verifies whether data is applied correctly. Cards with malfunctioning chips are sent to the reject bin.
• Magnetic Stripe Encoder – The inline encoder can read/write on 3-track magnetic stripes per ISO 7810 and 7811.
• Laser Modules – All laser systems allow for front and rear engraving of photos, data, barcodes and graphical elements in non-tactile, embossed or indented modes.
• Vision Quality Control Unit – Cameras crosscheck all applied visual data and features using OCR and OCV functions.
• Card Lamination – Detachable doublesided lamination module for applying clear or hologram laminates to one or both sides of the card.
