The ID7 is a desktop laser personalization system for back office and bureau mid-volume card issuance. It is designed to ensure quality, performance and reliability in government and financial environments.

The ID7 upgrades the best-selling ID5 product line with enhanced transport, native dual feeding and multichip options, to position it at teh top of the desktop solutions market.

Still respecting needs for compact footprints and volume issuance, the ID7 features an up to 30W laser and can be configured with vision system registration, magnetic stripe encoding and up to 3 high yield chip encoding stations. The single feeder option is standard, but the option for a second feeder is field upgradeable.

• Card Input Feeder – Feeding is automatic single or dual, both secured by mechanical locks
• Vision System – The integrated vision tools allow for pre-personalization product inspection, offset registration of laser engraving data, and personalization verification by performing OCR/OCV checks.
• C-CL Encoder – The system enables the loading of personal data into the integrated electronic contact or contactless chip. The unit verifies whether the data is applied correctly, and sends cards with malfunctioning chips to the reject bin.
• Magnetic Stripe Encoder – The inline magnetic stripe reader can read/write 3-track magnetic stripes per ISO 7810 and 7811.
• Laser Modules – The laser systems allow for front and rear card engraving of photos, data, barcodes and graphical elements in non-tactile, embossed or indented modes.
• Vision Quality Control Unit – The ID7 camera cross checks all applied visual data and features with OCR/OCV functions.
• Card Output Stacker – All card stackers ensure that the output is kept in the proper sequence. Optional dual output stackers are also available.
